Dragon Rides and Other Diversions

On my wanderings, I managed to visit the Imperial War Museum in Duxford, in Cambridgeshire, in the Fens of the UK. It was clear and warm, almost too warm for me, as I expended a lot of energy staying out of the sun.
I rode the aforementioned Dragon....a de Havilland DH89A Dragon Rapide, on a flight from Duxford Field over London. I and seven others.
When I returned and alighted from that flight, I made my way back to the booking office and booked a 20 minute flight on one of the de Havilland DH 82 Tiger Moths they had plying the field that day. I was booked in to a flight 35 minutes later and had to hurry my lunch in the blasting sun.
I had a great time. I had the stick for a few minutes of control in the air. But, I can say I have stormed the barn as a rube.
