The fighting had already started, oddly enough, in what we now call Iraq, and over oil.

The world was in transition, they were afraid (all of them, pretty much) of losing out. Unfortunately for them, the war simply sped up the transition, hastening their downfall.

Weirdly, I just started a thread about oil, and it talks about this, you might enjoy it.

I think this book might be helpful, but it will take a little longer than 6 minutes..
