I have far more respect for agnostic Christians as I believe at least they're more honest about the knowledge question.
So...Greatest.

It seems that you are here to proselytize the membership.

You certainly seem to think that you are somehow superior to 'regular' Christians because you are 'gnostic'. That seemingly alludes to your 'knowing' something, probably hidden, or secret, that makes you superior. Why don't you just impart that knowledge to all of us here and then move on to other, greener, pastures?

I personally think it is because you really don't 'know' shit. But that's just my hypothesis.
Gnostic is what they called the ancients and the word agnostic means basically the same as Gnostic.

I agree with your first remark.

Wow...That is semantic abuse if I've ever seen it.

So war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength, right?

Your assertions are becoming so obviously bullshit that I feel you should be turning your pile regularly and preparing to spread it on the north forty.

Note here: An agnostic is the exact opposite of a Gnostic.

A Gnostic is one who claims to have special knowledge.
Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people. Eleanor Roosevelt
This epigram was not attributed to Eleanor Roosevelt until 1987, and no primary source supporting the assertion that she is its author has been found to date. If you turn to the Quote Investigator you will discover that it is a streamlined version of what the historian Henry Thomas Buckle said during a conversation some time in the second half of the 19th century.

Turning to the maxim itself, it is worth noting that people who discuss ideas are not necessarily great of mind. They can also be pathetic wankers or cretins with delusions of intellectual grandeur.

Sure, but not nearly as populated with them as average and small minds.

I don't believe you can speak for all gnostics, any more than one orthodox christian can speak for even all orthodox christians, much less all mainstream christians.
There is no such thing as "politically correct." It's code for liberalism. The whole idea of "political correctness" was a brief academic flash-in-the-pan in the early 1990's, but has been a good conservative bugaboo ever since.

I've read enough of Pagels and Rudolph to have more than an inkling of what you are spouting off about. To claim to be a Gnostic is to claim to have special knowledge that ordinary believers do not.

You use the term gnostic in its capitalized form as self-identification. I took that term and sought references; it's easy enough. It seems obvious to me that you haven't a very good idea of what it is you are claiming for yourself and you don't know what you are talking about. So...I guess you are an agnostic Gnostic.

If this is your way of admitting you lied about what I posted, you show how small a mind and uncouth character you have.
