Hello everyone I am a new member of the forum, very interested in exchanging my limited knowledge with everyone in the forum. I would love to be friends with people. Thank you

As sohy says, the forum has been rather quiet lately; several weeks ago, one of the founders of SC, DMB, passed away. She was our most active member, and a good friend to us all; some of us, me included, are still in mourning, and not as talkative as usual.
Most of our members are British or American, but we have members from all over the world. I hope you find the discussions here enjoyable, educational, and entertaining.

Yes, quiet because DMB carried the major portion of new conversation creation for this board. She was aces and seemingly almost always active. Her loss alone makes this board a 'quiet place'....that she meant so much to so many means it will be subdued for some time.
So...I sampled some Highland Park Single Malt whilst visiting the Orkneys. I daresay I have found some lingering peatiness to appreciate, a novelty for me.
