Evaluating World War One

Post by DMB » Wed Jan 29, 2014 4:30 pm

This year marks the centenary of the beginning of World War One, a war of unprecedented scale that ushered in many features of the modern world. Please use this forum to comment on the causes and evolution of the war and its consequences.

There is likely to be an explosion of related material in the media over the next five years or so until we get to the centenary of the Treaty of Versailles.
